The Inter-Continental Network of Organic Farmers Organisations (INOFO) is delighted to introduce the newly elected Council Convenors for Europe for the term 2024-2027. These remarkable leaders were mandated and elected at the 2024 INOFO Europe General Assembly, where they received the responsibility of representing European organic farmers on the INOFO Global Council. Each convenor brings expertise, dedication, and a strong commitment to fostering sustainable, organic agricultural practices throughout Europe.
Our new convenors will play a crucial role in advocating for policies that support organic farmers, connecting farming communities across Europe, and promoting agroecological practices that contribute to a resilient food system. Clara Behr – Central Europe
Biodynamic Federation Demeter International e.V., Germany
Clara Behr is a leading advocate for biodynamic agriculture and head of Policy and Public Relations of the Biodynamic Federation Demeter International, based in Germany. With her deep understanding of biodynamic principles and her commitment to ecological farming, Clara has been instrumental in promoting organic and biodynamic farming practices across Central Europe. She is dedicated to advancing policies that support organic farmers and enhance biodiversity. As the Central Europe Convenor, Clara will focus on uniting farmers around sustainable practices and championing the role of organic agriculture in mitigating climate change and preserving natural resources.
Emilio Buonomo – Southern Europe

Emilio Buonomo represents Bio-Distretto Cilento, a pioneering organization in Italy dedicated to fostering organic farming and rural development. Emilio has been a steadfast advocate for organic agriculture, focusing on creating sustainable food systems that benefit both people and the planet. As the Southern Europe Convenor, Emilio will leverage his experience to strengthen the organic farming network across Southern Europe, promoting agroecology and food sovereignty within the region.

Aina Rogers brings extensive experience in organic farming and agroecology through her work with the Sociedad Española de Agricultura Ecológica y Agroecología (SEAE) in Spain. Aina has been a passionate advocate for sustainable farming systems that respect the environment and promote social equity. Her focus on agroecology and education has empowered countless farmers and communities to adopt practices that enhance resilience and food security. As the Southwestern Europe Convenor, Aina will work to foster collaboration among organic farmers, promote fair trade, and support the transition to sustainable agriculture across Southwestern Europe.
